Privacy Policy

Tech Liminal LLC (TL) is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to our website, as well as our members, customers and partners. TL has established this Privacy Policy to explain what information we collect through our websites and how it is used, as well as protections for our members’ and customers’ personal information.

TL does not sell or rent member, customer or website visitor information under any circumstances, and we do not share member, customer or visitor information without prior consent except as compelled by law. This restriction applies to members, sponsors and donors who join or participate both online and offline.

Tech Liminal is located within the United States, and therefore will transfer, process, and store your information in the United States.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, TL collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. TL’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how TL’s visitors and members use its website.

TL also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. TL does not use IP addresses to identify its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.

Information we Collect

Certain visitors to techliminal.com choose to interact with TL in ways that require TL to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that TL gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask members and customers who use our website to provide a full name, a username and email address; when making payments, we collect and forward payment information to third parties, but we do not store this information on our servers.

In each case, TL collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with TL. TL does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain online and offline activities, such as attending in-person meetups.

How we protect your information

Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using techliminal.com, you consent to the transfer of such information to them.
