This support group encourages beginners and intermediate WordPress users and developers. We probably won’t get into the nitty-gritty of the code, but we may do things like upload files to your server.
We’ll answer questions from participants, and try to work through issues together – this is how everyone learns.
Bring your lunch to this event.
RSVP, along with your burning question, on our meetup group.

I’m stumped on two things (maybe more!):
1) how to set up google analytics — or figure out if I have it
2) add post photo to email notifications
hope someone can help solve these conundrums! Thanks.
Can I schedule a WordPress private consultation before this session starts?
Hi Lisa! Sure! Please email info@techliminal.com to set up a consultation…
Hi There, I am having trouble uploading my WP site. DO you think this is something that could be solved during that session?
Cheers
Good meeting today, I got my questions answered, learned more about WordPress from Anca and the group and a nice bunch of people.
Great Session! We helped Lisa make a child theme, and looked under the hood of a bunch of different problems.
See you next week!
Anca.
Can’t make it to today’s wp/css session :-( but wondering what best tool is to edit css in wp, in particular, to be able to highlight area of wp page, such as header text, body text, padding areas, banner size, etc. Also, wondering if I need to create a child theme to do so to protect theme from being overwritten when wp is updated?
I use a text editor (BBEdit on the mac) to access my files directly through FTP for most day-to-day edits. You can hook up Dreamweaver if you want as well.
Also it would help to become familiar with some type of web inspector tool, such as Firebug, or those built into Safari, Chrome, and IE.
I am new in learning WordPress. I need some help on basic WordPress.
Hi Kul! Consider stopping by the WordPress Support Group, which happens here at Tech Liminal, most fridays at 12:30pm. $10
I’ve been meaning to come to your WP class but I wonder if I’m somewhere in between intermediate and advanced — if so, should I still come? Or will a CSS class be more beneficial (I just don’t do any coding and wonder if it’ll be too much over my head).
Thanks,
S
The WordPress Support Group is appropriate for everyone – but the WordPress Theme Programming class won’t be very useful if you are not at least familiar w/ PHP programming.
