At the MakeSF meet-up at Tech Liminal this evening we made Bristle Bots (http://www.evilmadscientist.com/article.php/bristlebot) and raced them. This was a lot of fun, and very silly. We explored the properties of different toothbrush head shapes, shaving the bristles down and weighting the motors in an attempt to get them to stand up.
