FROM BART

  • Get off at the 12th Street Oakland City Center stop and take the 14th Street exit
  • Walk up 14th Street 3.5 blocks (past Franklin, Webster, and Harrison) to 268 14th Street. If you walk past Alice, you’ve gone too far!
  • Tech Liminal will be on the left

FROM SAN FRANCISCO

  • Go east across Bay Bridge
  • Bay Bridge becomes I-80 East
  • Take the exit onto 580 East toward CA-24/Hayward-Stockton
  • Take the exit onto 980 W
  • Take the 18th Street exit towards 14th Street
  • Merge onto Brush Street
  • Turn left at 14th Street
  • Up 14th Street past Broadway
  • Tech Liminal is located on the left side of 14th Street between Harrison and Alice
  • Street parking is available, and there is a paid lot on the corner of 14th and Harrison and also on the corner of 14th and Alice

FROM MARIN, BERKELEY, RICHMOND, OR SACRAMENTO

  • FROM MARIN, I-580 E/Richmond San Rafael Bridge puts you on I-80 West
  • FROM BERKELEY, RICHMOND OR SACRAMENTO follow I-80 West
  • From I-80 West take 580 East to 980 West
  • Take the 18th Street exit towards 14th Street
  • Merge onto Brush Street
  • Turn left at 14th Street
  • Up 14th Street past Broadway
  • Tech Liminal is located on the left side of 14th Street between Harrison and Alice
  • Street parking is available, and there is a paid lot on the corner of 14th and Harrison and also on the corner of 14th and Alice

FROM CONCORD OR WALNUT CREEK

  • Take I-680 South to Hwy 24 West ramp towards Oakland/Lafayette
  • Merge onto Hwy 24 West
  • After going through the Caldecott Tunnel, Hwy 24 becomes I-980 West
  • From I-980 W. take the 18th Street exit towards 14th Street
  • Merge onto Brush Street
  • Turn left at 14th Street
  • Up 14th Street past Broadway
  • Tech Liminal is located on the left side of 14th Street between Harrison and Alice
  • Street parking is available, and there is a paid lot on the corner of 14th and Harrison and also on the corner of 14th and Alice

FROM THE SOUTH BAY (SAN JOSE, FREMONT, CASTRO VALLEY)

  • Take I-880 North towards Oakland
  • Take the Oak Street exit toward Lakeside Drive
  • Turn left at 14th Street
  • Tech Liminal will be on the left, just after Alice
  • Street parking is available, and there is a paid lot on the corner of 14th and Harrison and also on the corner of 14th and Alice

PARKING
Street parking is $2 / hour, and can be paid in change or using a credit card. The payment machine is right outside Tech Liminal, but is limited to 2-hour time blocks at a time. Parking hours are 8AM – 8PM Monday-Saturday.
The paid parking lot is $7/day on weekdays, and $3.50 after 4pm and on weekends.
