Today’s Bloggers’ Support Group featured a discussion about creative commons. Creative Commons is a nonprofit corporation that supports an automated way for people to control the copyright on their creative works. They provide a tool that allows people to specify how others can use their creative works. For example, a “Non-commercial, no-derivatives” license would allow someone t use a photo or a story or a video in any work where it is used intact for a non-commercial purpose – such a flier fr a non-profit or a private party.
CC-images can be found in many places on the web, such as Flickr, Wikipedia, and more. Ted wrote a more detailed article about this – so check out his site.
We discussed WordPress, plugins, and themes, including Thesis, the Thematic Framework, Sliding Doors Theme, and more.
You can check out teachmewp.com for some detailed tutorials and podcasts that will help you learn more about WordPress at all different skill levels.
We also did a checkin on our blog posts for the week. Did you write something? Add it here as a comment.
